Dr. Ottara Nyana.
This is the practical part of the course he is giving on the theory of the Buddha's teaching throughout the year, but you dont have to attend the class to join the retreat. Born in Maynmar in 1949, he has led a distinguished scholstic career which included a period of study in India. he left his position as Professor of Meditation Studies at the International Theravada Missionary University to become Head of the Vihara 2003.
